What are the design and application requirements of a community electronic patrol stick system?

Security area patrol work is usually carried out through conventional records, such as early personnel identification or random checks by leaders. Because these methods have certain shortcomings, they often lead to the inability to take necessary measures to stop suspicious targets in a timely manner after they are discovered, resulting in serious losses to the lives and property of the state and the people. As times change, its shortcomings are increasingly apparent. In some areas and departments, it has gradually been eliminated. This patrol method has problems such as low reliability, low efficiency, and lack of authenticity. In order to improve work efficiency and safety, it is necessary to improve the existing patrol model and establish a new management model—a patrol robot inspection system. It is not easy for managers to correctly grasp the patrol personnel's use of patrol sticks.

Most communities are equipped with television monitoring systems. Most people think that patrol sticks can be more effective than television monitoring. This is not the case. Television monitoring can monitor the scene and provide assistance to the duty officer, while the patrol stick can make their work more efficient, safe, and convenient. Television monitoring and patrol sticks generally complement each other. The following describes the better advantages of television monitoring and patrol sticks:

1. Television monitoring can only serve as evidence after an accident, and the patrol stick can promptly discover some safety hazards. Because security personnel must arrive at designated locations within a specified time, this allows security personnel to prevent situations that may occur at a certain moment.

2. As a manager, if you want to understand the daily work of security personnel through television monitoring, you can only watch videos every day. This is very laborious and cumbersome. You only need to process the electronic inspection management system with computer software, and the inspection personnel's inspection situation will be clear at a glance, making your work easier.

3. Management personnel cannot control whether security personnel sleep, leave, or arrive on time at night. During daytime patrols, if someone is found entering or leaving the company gate, the duty manager will be immediately notified. The patrol stick easily solves this problem. Only when security personnel truly follow the leader's instructions to discover and promptly address accident hazards.

4. Television monitoring cannot detect the generation of smoke in a timely manner, and the service life of smoke detectors in the community is longer than the design life, and smoke detectors often have false alarms and malfunctions. Using the patrol stick method, security personnel can be in place in time, find fire hazards, and eliminate fire accidents.

5. Television monitoring has a visual range beyond the visual range (commonly known as "blind spots"), and many criminals engage in illegal activities outside the monitoring range. Moreover, the patrol stick system allows police officers to patrol these blind spots in a timely manner, thereby greatly reducing the accident rate of television monitoring blind spots.

6. The patrol stick management system requires patrol personnel to be in place on time, making community guests feel safer and more at ease when using it, improving their trust in society, enhancing the overall image of the community, and bringing management to a new level.

From the above patrol system, it can be seen that patrol management is divided into three categories: sign-in, random checks, and electronic patrol management systems. Among them, the electronic patrol management system has the characteristics of low cost, high efficiency, and high security. One advantage of the patrol stick is that the investment is small, but its shortcomings lie in its lack of authenticity and poor reliability. Sign-in items are usually easily damaged, resulting in high consumption during use and difficulty in preserving historical data. Therefore, an effective means is needed to record the activities of the inspection personnel. Data may be lost or corrupted during transmission. To solve the above problems, this paper proposes a new inspection model—image-based automatic inspection. For historical data, post-analysis mainly relies on manual perception of symbolic forms for analysis.
