The correct use of electronic patrol systems significantly reduces the cost pressure on patrol personnel and improves the efficiency and accuracy of patrol inspections. High-precision 3D point cloud offline marking of patrol targets allows the electronic patrol system to automatically generate patrol point routes and trajectories.
Electronic patrols use visual identification of targets such as tunnels, railways, and hard-to-find alleys and corners. Using image algorithms, the pan-tilt unit locks onto the patrol target, which remains in the center of the frame, automatically adjusting the focal length to zoom in on the target area for shooting. This significantly reduces the workload and time of patrol workers, allowing for flexible patrol task settings and greatly increasing patrol frequency. Image recognition technology and image control algorithms accurately identify and lock onto targets, with the cloud automatically analyzing and detecting defects and issuing reports.
Electronic patrol equipment can automatically identify blind spots that personnel miss during inspections, compensating for the shortcomings of traditional patrol methods. In most parts of China, line inspections still primarily rely on manual check-in. In fact, the QR code patrol mode is not far behind in terms of presentation, but the QR code patrol mode is a new technology and solution, and its backend implementation is different from traditional methods. In terms of data storage, traditional patrol methods are generally single-machine versions, and query statistics can only be performed on one computer.
QR code patrols can easily upload images, allowing each patrol record to be described with images, equivalent to setting a graphic file for each patrol point, using images to record the real-time status of the patrol point at different time periods. If this patrol point is a point of personnel flow, its historical photos can be analyzed to see the changes in the flow of people at this patrol point, which is also extremely important information for a shopping mall.
